Origin: Arabic

Zahmat is an Urdu word, it means “bother, uneasiness of mind, trouble, pain” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “pareshain/परेशानी, bechain/बेचैन, museebat/मुसीबत, peeda/पीड़ा.
