Zabit (ज़ाबित)

Origin: Arabic

Zabit is an Urdu word, it means “governor, master, possessor” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “rajyapal/राज्यपाल, swami/स्वामी,  kabja karne waala/कब्ज़ा करने वाला.”

Zabit also means “strict, punctual, patient, disciplinarian” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “kathor/कठोर, samaynisth/समयनिष्ट, anushashak/अनुशासक.”
