Tishangi (तिश्नगी)
Origin: Arabic
Tishangi is an Urdu word, it means “thirst/desire/longing” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “pyaas/प्यास, ichaa/इच्छा, lalsaa/लालसा.”
For eg: “Hothon pe thi tishnagi…” which means, “there was thirst on the lips all the time…”
