Origin: Hindi
Taang is an Hindi word, it means “the leg/a share” in English, while in Hindi it’s also called as “pair/पैर, ansh/अंश.”
For eg: “Chal taang utha ke, nacche….” which means, “let’s dance raising the legs.”
Taang also means “hang” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “latkana/लटकाना.”
For eg: “Dil ki deewaron pe taang li hai….” which means, “hanged on the walls of heart.”
