Sher (शेर)

Origin: Arabic

Sher is an Urdu word, it means “verse, couplet” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “kavita/कविता, doha/दोहा.”

Sher also means “lion, tiger, brave, man” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “sinh/सिंह, baagh/बाघ, bahadur/बहादुर, aadmi/आदमी.”
