Qatl (क़त्ल)

Often wrongly pronounced as “Qatal” and wrongly written in Hinglish as “Katal”

Origin: Arabic

Qatl is an Urdu word, it means “consent, acceptance, assent, recognition” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “sehmati/सहमति, sweekaar/स्वीकार, anumati/अनुमति, manyata/मान्यता.”
