Paas (पास)

Origin: Persian

Paas is an Urdu word, it means “custody/regard/supervision” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “samapt/समाप्त, samapti/समाप्ति .”

Paas also means “near” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “nikat/निकट.”

For eg:Main aas paas tere, aur mere paas” which means, “I am close to you and you are close to me.”
