Muqaddar (मुक़द्दर) (noun masculine)

Origin: Arabic

Muqaddar  is an Urdu word, it means “fate, destiny, predestination” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “kismat/किस्मत, bhagya/भाग्य, poorvniyati/पूर्वनियति.”

Whereas, the word Mukaddar means, “turbid, muddy, sullen, gloomy, vexed” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “pankil/पंकिल, mela/मेला, udaas/उदास, vivadaspad/विवादास्पद.”
