Khilaf (खिलाफ)

Origin: Arabic

Khilaf is an Urdu word, it means “opposition, contrariety, falsehood, against” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “vipkash/विपक्ष, praitvaad/प्रतिवाद, jhooth/झूठ, virudh/विरुद्ध.”

For eg:Khud hi khade hain khud ke khilaaf.” which means, “we are standing against ourselves.”
