Khareed (खरीद)
Origin: Persian
Khareed is an Urdu word, it means “purchase” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “kray/क्रय.”
For eg: “Ticket khareed ke, beth ja seat pe, nikal na jaaye kahin Chennai Express” which means, “buy a ticket, sit on the seat, may the Chennai Express not leave.”
