Khalish (खलिश)

Origin: Persian

Khalish is an Urdu word, it means “prick, pain, anxiety, apprehension” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “chubhan/चुभन, dard/दर्द, chinta/चिंता, shanka/शंका.”

For eg:Koi khalish hai hawaon mein bin tere” which means, “there is some pain in the air, without you.”
