Imtihaan

Origin: Arabic

Imtihaan is an Urdu word, it means “examination/test/trial/proof/experiment” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “parikscha/parikschan/suboot/prayog.”

For eg: “Mere ishq ka imtihaan yun na lo” which means “Please don’t test my love, this way.”
