Hairan/Hairaan (हैरान)

Origin: Arabic

Hairan an Urdu word, it means “amazed/confounded/perplexed/worried” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “achambhit/अचंभित, chakit/चकित, vikal/विकल, chintit/चिंतित.”

For eg:Khaamosh si hai zameen, hairan sa phalak hai” which means, “the land is silent, and the sky is amazed.”
