Hadsa/Haadsa (हादसा)

Origin: Arabic

Hadsa is an Urdu word, it means “accident/occurrence/calamity/misfortune” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “durghatna/दुर्घटना, ghatna/घटना, aapda/आपदा, durbhagya/दुर्भाग्य.”

For eg: “O mere khuda, dil hua fidaHadsa yeh na jaane kab hua” which means, “O my god, my heart is in love, I don’t know when this accident occurred.”
