Haal (हाल)
Origin: Arabic
Haal is an Urdu word, it means “state/condition/narrative/circumstance” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “avastha/अवस्था, paristithi/परिस्तिथि, haalat/हालत.”
For eg: “Koi mere dil da haal na jaane” which means, “No one knows the condition of my heart.”
