Daawat (दुआ)

Origin: Arabic

Daawat is an Urdu word, it means “invitation/banquet” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “nimantran/निमंत्रण, bhoj/भोज.”

For eg:Dil ne dastar-khaan bichaya, daawat-e-ishq hai” which means, “the heart spread a dining spread, it’s the feast of love.”
