Daaru (दारु)

Origin: Hindi

Daaru is a Hindi word, it means “alcohol” in English, while in Hindi it’s also called as “sharaab/शराब.”

Daaru (Origin: Persian) also means “medicine, remedy” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “dawa/दवा, upaay/उपाय.”

For eg: “Daaru ko main du-doo ki tarah pee jaoon” which means, “I drink liquor like milk.”
