Daar (दार)

Origin: Arabic

Daar is an Urdu word, it means “gallows, a piece of wood, having, holding ” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “faansi/फांसी, lakdi ka tukda/लकड़ी का टुकड़ा, rakhna/रखना, pakde/पकडे.”

Daar (Origin: Persian) also means “house, country” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “ghar/घर, desh/देश.”
