Origin: Persian

Behaya is an Urdu word, it means “shameless/impudent/bare-faced” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “nirlajj/theth/dheeth.”

For eg: “Toote toh toote teri baahon mein aise, jaise shaakon se patte behaya” which means, “When I broke in your arms, I broke like some leaves from a tree, shamelessly.”
