Basar

Origin: Arabic

Basar is an Urdu word, it means “sight/vision/the eye” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “dikhayi padhna/drasti/aankh.”

Basar also means “to live” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “jeena.”

For eg: “Dil ka mere, tere bina na basar” which means, “my heart can’t live without you.”
