Barsaat

Origin: Persian

Barsaat is an Urdu word, it means “rain/rainy season” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “varshawaala/varshakaleen.”

For eg: “Mujhme vo aise jaise jaan, gire barsaat me paani jaise” which means, “she’s in me as my life, the way water falls in the rain.”
