Balam/Baalam

Origin: Sanskrit

Baalam is a Hindi word, it means “a lover/sweet-heart/husband” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “premi/pyaara/pati.”

For eg: “Balam pichkaari, jo tune mujhe maari, toh seedhi saadhi chori sharaabi ho gayi” which means, “O beloved, when you splash color on me with a water gun, this simple straightforward girl got drunk.”
