Baaqi/Baaki

Origin: Arabic

Baaqi is an Urdu word, it means “remaining/lasting/residue/remainder/arrears” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “shesh/sthaayi/avshesh/bacha huya/bakaya.”

For eg: “Wo jo adhoori si baat baaki hai, wo jo adhoori si yaad baaki hai” which means, “that talks remains incomplete. that memory, it remains still incomplete.”
