Origin: Hindi

Baadal is a Hindi word, it means “clouds” in English, while in Hindi it’s also called as “aasmaan/megh.”

For eg: “Kabhi jo baadal barse, main dekhoon tujhe aankhein bharke, tu lage mujhe pehli baarish ki dua” which means, “Sometime, when the clouds rain, I’ll see you with my eyes full, you seems to me, like a wish for first rain of the season.”
