Auqaat/Aukaat/Aukat

Origin: Arabic

Auqaat is an Urdu word, it means “status/position”in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “haisiyat/stithi.”

For eg: “Hum mein toh hi hai bacchu, auqaat ainth ki” which means “In us only, oh boy! there is the status of having pride.”

Auqaat also means “times” in English, while in Hindi it’s called as “baar”.
