Aanchal
Origin: Hindi
Aanchal is a Hindi word, it’s actually the corner of the saree ‘dopatta’ worn by women in India, often referred as cozy shelter, it’s also called as “pallu” in Hindi.
For eg: “Jab se mile tum hamein aanchal se tere bandhe, dil ud raha hai” which means “since I had found you, I am tied to you (aanchal) (and) the heart is flying.”
