Artist Biography
Ronkini Gupta is an Indian playback artist who won Saregamapa World Series unscripted TV drama broadcasted on Zee TV in 2004. She sang the widely praised melody “Rafu” in Tumhari Sulu for which she was selected for Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer. She sang two tunes in the 2018 delivered film Sui Dhaaga for Anu Malik, “Chaav Laaga” with Papon and “Tu Hi Aham” which is her independent tune in the film. She is a prepared Indian traditional artist. Her singing collection covers Khyaal, Fusion and Bollywood. She has been beneficiary of numerous honors like the Saregamapa World Series, Doverlane National Merit and Artist Aloud Award. She has performed with energy on numerous stages and has likewise ventured to the far corners of the planet with the Indian broadway show “Bharati” as the lead entertainer. She formed in Mr Ya Miss and loaned voice to Jai Maharashtra Dhaba Bhatinda (2013), Aankhon Dekhi (2014), Pyaar Vali Love Story (2014), Hrudyantar (2017), Taleem (2016) ,”Rafu” in Tumhari Sulu (2017) ,”Chaav Laaga” with Papon and “Tu Hi Aham” as an independent tune in Sui Dhaaga. Both the melodies in Sui Dhaaga got far reaching praise and immovably settled her as a significant artist of her age. She is broadly known for her capacity to eminently mix her old style preparing with contemporary musicality.
