Her musical journey started with Gurmat sangeet and harmonium learning from her mother at the age of 6. She started taking formal music training from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Delhi & Gurmat Sangeet training from her teacher Jasvinder Kaur. She participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 and Asia’s singing superstar 2015 and was one of the top 6 contestants. In 2017, she was awarded with Mirchi Music Awards, Bangla for “Upcoming Female Voice of the year”. In 2018, Rashmeet Kaur became the 1st ever winner of “The Remix” – Amazon Prime Originals music reality show, performing for judges Sunidhi Chauhan, Nucleya and Amit Trivedi.
Rashmeet has done numerous ad jingles & lend her voice for the song “Heer” in Bollywood Movie Phillauri. She has her own Band, performed with various Bollywood artists like Shubha Mudgal, Master Saleem, Shazia Manzoor, Siddharth Mahadevan, Mohammed Irfan. Rashmeet has performed across the globe with numerous musicians & is currently working on her individual projects with her band.
