Gur Sidhu was born in Bathinda, Punjab.
Gur Sidhu is a Punjabi Singer and lyricist associated with Punjabi music. He is born in the Sikh family on 11 July 1997 and his birthplace is Bathinda, Punjab, India. His height is about 6′ 0”. Gur Sidhu’s real name is Gursimran Singh Sidhu. He completed his graduation from Punjabi University, Patiala and after that he moved to Canada for further studies.
He is well known for his Punjabi songs like Yaari, 8 Parche, Khrey Khrey Jatt, Subah Jatt Da, Pyar Bolda, and the latest Jatt Hunne Aa.
His recent hit song, “Jatt Hunne Aa”, which went public on April 25, 2020, has also garnered 2 million+ views on YouTube since its release. This multi-talented singer, who is also a music composer, has performed across a wide range of music genres, right from Punjabi Pop, Bhangra, Romantic to Hip Hop. No wonder that his songs’ viewership runs into millions on YouTube.
After graduation Sidhu moved to Canada and there he released his first song “Moved On” on 8 May 2019.Later, his song “8 Parche” with Baani Sandhu was released in September 2019 under the label of White Hill Music.
As of April 2020,the song “8 Parche” has been viewed over 450 million times on YouTube. In october 2019, his song “Pyar Bolda” with Jassa Dhillon was released which has been viewed over 40 million times on YouTube.
He finally got his breakthrough with single “Bro Oye”, released by White Hill Music. In the same year he sang, wrote and composed “Challa” for the Punjabi feature film Ardab Mutiyaran starring Ninja and Sonam Bajwa.
